PIN CHUN LIN

Pin-Chun Lin, a Taiwanese pianist, holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Piano Performance from National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan.

 

She has received top prizes in numerous competitions, including the Steinbach International Music Competition, Seidof & Sons Piano Competition, and 1st Prize in the Taiwan Music Competition. During her studies, Pin-Chun was awarded the Piano Academic Excellence Award multiple times and participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Valentina Lisitsa, Michael Tsalka, Rolf-Peter Wille, Ning An, and Steven Glaser. In 2018, she studied under Henri Sigfridsson at the Palazzo Ricci Master Class in Italy and was selected to perform at the Salone di Palazzo Ricci.

 

As a soloist, Pin-Chun has given several concerts, including All Chopin (2016), Pin-Chun Lin Piano Recital (2017), and Sonatas at Kaohsiung City Music Hall (2019). Her chamber music performances include A Night at La Belle Époque with soprano Isabel Canada Luna and cellist Enkhmaa Tuvshin at Dubai Alliance Française, as well as appearances at Sizihwan Art Center and other ensemble concerts in 2018 and 2019.

 

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Pin-Chun is now based in Abu Dhabi. She is passionate about piano education and is dedicated to helping students grow in both technique and musicality. Her students consistently achieve excellent results in ABRSM exams, with a 100% pass rate, and many have successfully performed in concerts and competitions.
